Day 1
|
Meeting at the airport in Bishkek
in the early morning. Transfer to a hotel. Afternoon city tour. Dinner
with a folklore program (music, dancing).

Day 2
|
Bishkek - Cholpon-Ata. On the way
sightseeing of Burana
tower (11 Century). There was Balasagun town – a capital of the Karachanids
State) and the ruins of ancient town “Suyab” (6-12 Century). You will
see the Kyrgyz national horse games ("Ulak-Tartysh", "Oodarysh"...).
Accommodation at a hotel. Dinner.

Day 3
|
Cholpon-Ata – Chon-Ak-Suu (Grigorievskoe)
gorge – Cholpon-Ata. A boat tour (1 hour), visit the horse breeding
farm and the petroglyphs. You can enjoy the beautiful nature and hike
in the mountains in the Grigoriev Gorge.

Day 4
|
Cholpon-Ata – Karakol. Visit Muslim mosque,
Russian Orthodox church, Przhevalsky museum. Accommodation at a hotel
in Karakol. Dinner.

Day 5
|
Karakol – Altyn-Arshan gorge. After
breakfast transfer to one of the beautiful gorges “Altyn-Arashan”(it
means “Hot spring”). Here you can take a bath in hot spa and hike in the
mountains. Stay overnight at a guest house.

Day 6
|
Altyn-Arashan gorge – Jety-Oguz gorge.
You can see well known rocks: “Seven Bulls” and “Broken Heart”. Stay
overnight at tents.

Day 7
|
Jety-Oguz gorge – Bokonbaevo Village.
This village is located on the south shore of Issyk-Kul lake.
A famous hunter with his family live in this village. This hunter goes
hunting with Golden Eagles(no guns) for hares, foxes, wolves. You can see
a demonstration of hunting with a Golden Eagle for a hare and know more
about his life and family. Stay overnight at his house.

Day 8
|
Bokonbaevo Village – Kochkor. Visit
of production of felt rugs. Stay overnight at the hotel.
|
|
Day 9
|
Kochkor – Tash-Rabat (a caravan-sarai
on the Great Silk Road, 10 Century). Via the Dolon pass to enjoy the
beautiful scene from the top of this pass. Accommodation at yurta. Hiking
to the mountains.

Day 10
|
Tash-Rabat - Son-Kul lake via Moldo-Too
Mountains. Accommodation at yurta in Son-Kul. Visit nomads and watch
as they make cheese, bread etc if we are lucky. Hike in the nearby mountains
to watch animals and flowers.

Day 11
|
Drive from Son-Kul to Suusamyr valley via
Kyzart pass. Accommodation at yurta or tents.
|
|
Day 12
|
Suusamyr valley - Talas over Tuya-Ashuu
and Otmek passes. Visit Manas Memorial. Accommodation at a hotel in
Talas.

|
Day 13
|
Drive to the village of Sheker (birthplace
of Aitmatov). Visit library and Aitmatov museum. In the evening drive
back to Talas.
|
|
Day 14
|
Drive back to Bishkek.
|
|
Day 15
|
Flight back to Europe.
